A generational lakeside home in West Kelowna, preserved and updated with modern amenities inside its original footprint.
The design
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
This project was a collaboration to preserve a generational lakeside home while bringing in modern amenities. The primary bedroom was enlarged to take in lake views, the kitchen gained a 9 ft by 4 ft island and an 8 ft by 7 ft walk in pantry, and a detached garage was added.
The design keeps the original footprint within the riparian setbacks and builds on the existing foundation.
